A 10-week program for rising university junior and senior students hosted in our Washington, D.C., Northern Virginia, and Plano, TX offices. Fannie Mae interns are empowered to drive change, lead with creativity, and make a difference.
As a Fannie Mae intern, you will have the opportunity to apply your education and perspectives to solve real-world issues and work with diverse teams within different departments like Finance, Technology, Analytics, and more. Deepen skills in design, coding, testing, and supporting software products related to meeting customer requirements, while performing tasks using formal software development methodologies and partnering with business areas to develop a comprehensive understanding of how existing applications support the business.

Understand how applications support Fannie Mae’s business while focusing on IT infrastructure components to meet business and technical requirements. Gain a deep understanding of technical mathematical analysis, requirements documentation, and system and risk analysis.
