Fannie Mae seeks Capital Markets Analyst – Washington, DC

Assist in daily capital markets activities such as, creating reports and/or analyzing data. Use Credit Risk Transfer (CRT) program knowledge and general analytical skills to respond directly to external parties, such as CRT investors, rating agencies, Trustees, third party data providers and other data users. Manage PRISM Pipeline application, a new system that tracks, tags, and executes CRT transactions and assigns loans to transactions. Collaborate with deal managers to formulate job aids which detail new transactions and associated deliverables. Mentor and train other colleagues on this new tool. Contribute to the process of model and technology improvement across various analytic and database tools. Participate in testing system enhancements. Directly respond to investor inquiries regarding our historical and transactional datasets that contains in excess of 50 million loans. Directly work with lenders partners as a subject matter expert regarding certain on CRT transactions, to help insure data is consistent and to provide needed business decisions.

  • Bachelor’s Economics, Mathematics or Finance plus 1 year experience in financial analysis in mortgage industry using economics, mathematical, and/or statistical tools. 
  • Excellent communication skills
