JOB INFORMATION

The Governance Analyst II is responsible for leveraging knowledge of the business, complex processes, and regulations in support of the effective implementation of the organization's governance, risk, and compliance programs. This position performs a variety of roles including, but not limited to training, implementation, monitoring, research and analysis, remediation and reporting.

 

KEY JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Develops and manages the implementation of operational and governance requirement for key control activities to ensure compliance with regulatory, legal, corporate, and business unit policies and procedures.
  • Execute an increased Business Resiliency strategy to elevate HR’s critical role focusing on the needs of our workforce
  • Evaluates new policies and procedures for operational and control impacts and governance, risk and compliance standards. May develop risk and operational reporting.  
  • Identifies ongoing process improvements, operational gaps, and potential remediation steps.

  • Functions as a liaison to internal departments and aids in surfacing gaps between written procedures and staff execution; helps with and may lead process re-design and coordination of remediation efforts.
  • Oversees and provides ongoing support for the update and maintenance of policies and procedures and other governance activities.
EDUCATION

Education Level Required
  • Bachelor's degree

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE
  • 2-4 years of relevant work experience
SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
  • Utilizes broad expertise and specialized knowledge to lead and execute project management assignments related to policy and procedure development, compliance testing, process analyses, gap identification, and remediation.
  • Understanding of risk and controls; prefer knowledge of materiality as it relates to risk management in Human Resources
  • Strong project management skills including the ability to manage multiple task, self-prioritize tasks and execute against deadlines
  • Ability to interact effectively throughout the organization, develop cooperative relationships, and collect information
