Software Engineers, Reston VA
Provide design leadership in large or complex development projects involving application development, migrations, additions to existing applications. Assess and develop high level design requirements for project and communicate in writing or in meetings with development team. Assess detailed specifications against design requirements. Review application in progress of development to ensure compliance with overall design parameters and corporate development standards. Guide programmers/developers on technical issues. Develop or review development of test protocols for testing application before user acceptance.
Bachelor’s in Software Engineering or Computer Science plus 5 years’ progressive experience in the position or related, or Master’s in Software Engineering or Computer Science plus 3 years’ related experience. Experience must include: Informatica suite including MDM (Hub and IDD); software development life cycle (SDLC) and/or Agile project expertise including analysis, design, coding, unit testing and deployment preparation and for large enterprise data warehouse applications; and working in complex Informatica and similar environments performing systems (i.e.: system level applications) analysis, design, development and unit testing of software applications from user requirements.
